Lodging

The ISNV Symposium and Conference on HIV in the Nervous System will be held on the grounds of the University of Milan, which is located near the heart of the city. Although lodging will not be available on campus, meeting participants can choose to stay at one of several nearby hotels. These hotels, which provide 3- and 4-star accommodations, are within walking distance of the University and are also served by public transportation (subway). Room rates at these hotels typically range from €100 to €340 per night (approximately $123 to $417 US at the 6-16-10 exchange rate).

The following hotels around the University of Milan are recommended for all meeting participants. Details specific to each hotel are provided below the table.

Star Hotels Rosa Grand

Hotel Dei Cavalieri

The hotel is very conveniently located; it's a 10 minute walk to the conference hall. Meeting room rates are as follows: €159 per night for a single room; €189 per night for a business double (slightly larger in size). Both rates include breakfast. Quoted room rates are available by e-mail only. Send your reservation request to reservation@hoteldeicavalieri.com to the attention of Mrs. De Fusco. Indicate in your message that you will be attending the ISNV meeting.

Hotel Canada

The hotel is very conveniently located; it's a 10 minute walk to the conference hall. Single and double rooms are available for €137 per night. Room rates include breakfast. Quoted room rates are available by e-mail only. Send your reservation request to info@canadahotel.it. Indicate in your message that you will be attending the ISNV meeting. Rooms at this rate will only be held until August 31st. Reservations must be cancelled at least two days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation charge.

Hotel Ascot

This is a small boutique hotel that has been newly renovated. The hotel is very conveniently located; it's a 5 minute walk to the conference hall. Room rates are as follows: €95 per night, single occupancy; €120 per night, double occupancy. Room rates include breakfast and VAT. Quoted room rates are available by e-mail only. Rooms at this rate will only be guaranteed until August 23rd. Send your reservation request to reservation@hotelascotmilano.it to the attention of Mr. Giovanni Pineda. Indicate in your message that you will be attending the ISNV meeting.

Carrobbio

Best Western Galles

The hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes from the University by bus or subway. Room rates (October 12th check-in) are as follows: €145 per night for a single room; €160 per night for a double room, single occupancy; €165 per night for a double room, double occupancy. All rates include breakfast. Use the hotel reservation form to make your reservation. Reservations must be cancelled at least three days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation charge.

Ritz (Star Hotel)
